Nelson and Friends at Shipwreck's Cove

• As the title suggests, this is a scene from Shipwreck's Cove. The gulls had gathered in one spot and in a distance some fishermen were casting their lines. One of them was wearing a very bright jacket which was eye catching. It made for a great painting. I tried a slightly different technique on this one, not going into too much detail with the seagulls and I used a palette knife in the treatment of the seaweed, creating a believable texture. This is one of my favourites.
