• Edenvale Ramblings is one of my en plein air (in the open air) submissions for the 2022 Plein Air Down Under festival. We painted in the town of Pinjarra on the second day. There was a magnificent rambling rose bush near the Edenvale heritage building which, together with the building's old textured bricks, made for an enticing scene to paint. It was an overcast day but the sun came out in short bursts enabling me to capture some shadows on the roof tops.
