• Our Mandurah Plein Air Artist group met at Batavia Boat Ramp in South Yunderup for one of our weekly paint-out sessions. The trees obscured the view considerably from this angle, however, the bright reflection of the roof in the water contrasting with the white boat, grabbed my attention. I love the atmosphere captured from this point of view. The random stack of chairs facing the scene tickled me too, confirming that the spot was worth sitting down to absorb and experience. I finished this piece off in the studio.
